Nada Elbarkouky, Business Development Director, The Ministry of Transport Arab Republic of Egypt Nada Elbarkouky is a Supply Chain & Logistics Expert with 13 years of experience started at international private organizations in shipping and freight forwarding business. She joined the Ministry of Transport since 2015, she created a Masterplan for Logistics with a vision to promote Logistics activities and better connect the hard logistics with the current running projects. She is tasked with overseeing the LOGISMED Initiative in Egypt, and she participated in building a Strategy for Transport in Egypt, in all sectors (Maritime, Rail, Road, Inland Water and Logistics). Before Joining the Ministry of Transport, Nada was a Consultant for PIL Egypt – a Singaporean shipping line Company operating a branch in Egypt Prior to PIL, Nada was responsible for the Business Development at DB Schenker, Egypt. Her fields of experience included, Transportation, Manufacturing and Applications’ Implementations. On the Academic side, Nada is a Lecturer of Business and Logistics in the MBA Program, at the Arab Academy for Science & Technology, as well as IRAAS Academy – Pearson. Over and Above, Nada is a Supply Chain Lecturer, in the American University in Cairo (AUC), The School of Continuing Education. Nada has recently published a paper on an enhanced CRM Model that fits for Shipping Line companies at the American Society for Competitiveness, Washington D.C.
